PeaceChord’s Family and Divorce Mediation Training prepares professionals to thoughtfully guide families through periods of transition with clarity, steadiness, and care.
Rooted in a facilitative approach, this 40+ hour, NYS Unified Court System Part 146-approved training goes beyond learning the stages of a mediation.
Participants develop practical skills for designing and leading an effective process, facilitating difficult conversations, managing conflict and complex interpersonal dynamics, working with parenting and financial issues, and supporting informed decision-making without taking over the decisions themselves
The emphasis throughout is on what family and divorce mediators actually do, in the room and behind the scenes, and how to practice with wisdom, adaptability, and empathy.
